What to Have Ready
A quote is only as good as the information behind it. Having these to hand turns a fifteen-minute conversation into a five-minute one.
For a business or facility
- Property type — office, clinic, warehouse, retail, church, school, restaurant
- Approximate cleanable square footage
- Number of restrooms and fixtures
- Days per week you want service, and the cleaning window
- Floor types — carpet, VCT, LVT, tile, concrete
- Any access, badge, alarm or compliance constraints
For a home
- Bedrooms and bathrooms, and roughly how large the home is
- Recurring or one-time
- Standard clean, deep clean or move-in / move-out clean
- Pets, and any areas you want left alone
Why We Walk Commercial Properties First
For any recurring commercial or janitorial contract we prefer to walk the building before quoting. Square footage alone does not tell us restroom fixture counts, floor condition, how the trash actually leaves the building or what the after-hours access looks like — and those are the things that decide whether a contract works in month six. The walkthrough is free and takes about half an hour.
If you want to understand how commercial cleaning rates get built before you talk to anyone, our cost per square foot guide lays out the pricing models. For homes, see house cleaning prices in Central Texas. Whether Texas sales tax applies to your job is covered in are cleaning services taxable in Texas.
